Don't Peek !

Or maybe you should, if you want to see the store display sample in the works!

If you are still waiting to decide if you should try the Stitch Pink Quilt-Along, perhaps this will help you decide.

Choose all pinks to stay with the Stitch Pink theme, or your own fun grouping of fabrics and colors.  It’s a great time to pull together fabrics from your stash, or select new fabrics, or a combination of both. You can see that my color selection of teals, blues, purples, and pinks is looking pretty good in those blocks!

There are thirty 12″ finished blocks that are set in six rows of five blocks each. The quilt is finished with a 2″ border and binding, making the final quilt 64″ x 76″.

What you will need is:

3-1/2 yards for a background color

1 yard for the lightest light color

1/2 yard each in medium to dark values of 9 – 10 additional fabrics, OR a fat quarter bundle (20 or more prints).

Next, bookmark this blog on your phone / computer and check back everyday for the pattern link . . .  and to see our block of the day.    Don’t want to bookmark, then sign up at the bottom of this webpage for an email reminder of the new blog post (be sure to check the box for “Blog – Quilt Happy Thoughts”).

I’m off to sew more of the blocks in preparation of getting the finished sample to the store, so  . . .

Play with Fabric, Keep Stitching, and I’ll see you tomorrow.
